DAY 1: MARRAKECH / AIT BEN HADDOU / OUARZAZATE / DADES GORGE
  • After leaving Marrakech,
  • we go south across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m),
  • with spectacular views of the mountains and Berber villages along the route.
  • We eat lunch in a typical eatery and then visit the World Heritage-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
  • More than 20 films have included this iconic kasbah as a background.
  • After lunch, we go through Ouarzazate, Morocco’s southernmost city, to the Skoura oasis, a lush location surrounded by vast palm trees.
  • We continue on from Skoura to the Valley of Roses.

  • Depending on weather circumstances, the rose season begins about 10 April and finishes around 20 May.
